Fever To Tell
Overall rating:

Release year: 2003
Genre: Rock (Alternative Rock)
Suggested donation for album: $ 19.97

I'd heard good reviews of Yeah Yeah Yeahs, but didn't pay attention until hearing "Black Tongue" on a friend's iPod. I was sold and bought the CD soon after. I love everything about this band, pretty much. I put this on in the background when studying all the time.

I don't always listen to the slower songs aside from "No No No." I never fail to connect to the emotion in that one. I'll put this on sometimes just to hear one song, but I often get sucked into listening to the whole CD again just by hearing the opening notes of "Rich."

Fever to Tell reminds me a little of the White Stripes' earlier albums, which is a good thing in my book. If you like female vocals and a slightly raw sound, you'll probably enjoy Fever to Tell.
